Here is last week's Colour Collective illustration, inspired by the colour Mars Violet. I used some elements from my Folk Tale Week illustrations to create this pattern - luckily I was already using this shade as part of my palette so it worked out perfectly!

Folk Tale Week 2019

If you follow me over on Instagram you might have seen these Folk Tale Week illustrations already! I decided to take part in this challenge as I thought it would be a good chance to discover some new artists and folk stories - and I definitely did! 

I loved creating an illustration for each prompt, and it pushed me to try some new things and try to build a little collection which worked cohesively. 

The prompts were:

2. Secret

3. Path

4. Smoke

5. Darkness

6. Key

7. Crown

Hopefully I will be able to take part next year too!
