Giveaway!

(sorry about the quality of these photo's!)

In celebration of finally getting my new printer, I thought I would do a little giveaway for you guys! I am giving away this A4 print of my illustration 'Closer' - it is printed on archival matte paper, so the colours will stay vibrant (as long as you display it behind a glass frame). I will be re-launching my Etsy store soon, so there will be tons of other prints available.

If you want to enter this giveaway, then all you have to do is be a follower of this blog via GFC, and leave me a comment below. Make sure you leave your email address too!

I really hope that you will all enter, as it is open worldwide. It closes on the 20th June.

Edit: I just joined Hellocotton, so if you follow me via there, you can enter too!

Glitter Detector Giveaway Win!

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to win Marta's awesome giveaway over at her blog Glitter Detector. Marta is a really lovely girl, so I would definitely recommend checking out her blog. I won this lovely OCC Lip Tar, and it's the first one I've ever tried.

I chose the shade Grandma, which is a bright pinky-coral type shade. I think this product will last for ages, because you only need the smallest amount when you apply. The staying power is also amazing, so I would thoroughly recommend the Lip Tars.

I'd like to thank Marta for hosting such a generous giveaway, and I hope that you will all check out her blog!

LEHAPPY

I'm sure many of you will be familiar with Lua's blog - Le Happy, if not then you should check it out! This is an illustration that I based on her, as I think she has really great style.

I also love her hair!

Roses are red...

I thought I would post about something a little different today. Seeing as Titanic has just been re-released in 3D, I decided to watch it again, and the first thing that impressed me was the costume and accessory designs. I especially loved Rose's dragonfly hair comb, so I thought I would have a little look online for some similar pieces.

I came across a lovely jewellery shop called Roses are Red. They stock all sorts of things from necklaces to bracelets, and each design has a vintage feel.

I also managed to find these amazing hair combs, reminiscent of the Edwardian/Victorian era, and they are just gorgeous. I really like the attention to detail, and I think they would be ideal for wearing to a wedding or party.

The prices are also very reasonable with these hair combs coming in at £7.50 and £8.50. Roses are Red are even offering a 10% discount on you first order!

I hope you'll all check out the website!
