This was just a random idea I had last night. It was a really quick doodle of Anna Wintour, and I thought wouldn't it be cool to put her on a playing card (I'm sure this had probably been done before).

Pout

This is another painting I did based on a post on Jak and Jil. It was such a striking photo, and I thought it would translate really well into a painting. I used watercolour, pencil, and pen for this.

Flame hair

This painting was inspired by a photo I saw on Jak and Jil, theres a couple more that I think would make great paintings, so I'm going to try and work on those today.

Cat Mask

This painting was actually inspired by a pic I saw of Katy Perry (I think this has ended up looking a little like Rachel Weisz to be honest) I just thought it was quite cute, and I've always loved those masquerade style masks.

Uffie

I decided to do this drawing after seeing a post that the lovely Aimee did on her blog. I hadn't heard of Uffie before seeing Aimee's post, but I thought she looked kind of interesting, plus I clearly love drawing people in sunglasses!

King Karl

This drawing came about when I was looking for pictures of Leigh Lezark the other day. I found this really cool photo of her, and Karl Lagerfeld, so I just had to try and paint it. I really like how it turned out, its a little different than my usual stuff. There is only a minimal difference between the two paintings I posted, but I like to play around with different effects and see what I come up with.

Leigh

Today's painting is of the lovely Leigh Lezark. I think she always looks awesome in whatever she wears, and has her own unique style.
I tried to keep the drawing quite raw and simple, just using watercolour and pencil.
